50+ Exhibitors: Art of The Cocktail showcases mixology's finest

For over a decade, the Art of the Cocktail, organized by Victoria Film Festival, has been a popular event, where the artful craft of mixology takes center stage. It's a showcase where local and national distillers present their masterpieces to over 900 cocktail enthusiasts in Victoria every year.

This year's lineup of 50+ exhibitors features a mix of familiar favourites and exciting newcomers, including:

• Fire + Water Restaurant

• Moon Distillery

• Lure Restaurant & Bar

• Aura Waterfront Restaurant + Patio

• Driftwood Spirits

• Bray's West Coast Tapas & Wine

• Q at the Empress

Notably, beverage powerhouse Diageo will grace the event with four of their esteemed brands: Ketel One, Don Julio, Tanqueray, and Johnnie Walker.

Among the array of enticing cocktails, look forward to the Espresso Martini, presented in collaboration between Stealth Distillery and The Palms.

Meelad, the innovative bar manager at Virtuous Pie, will showcase his creation Far from The Zaytoon Family, a unique tribute to his Syrian heritage and scientific background.

The event is also an opportunity to interact with notable mixologists including Kaitlyn Stewart (Don Julio), the first Canadian who secured the prestigious World Class Global Bartender of The Year title, and Chris Enns (Johnnie Walker), an acclaimed mixologist recognized as the 2018 Master of the Manhattan and a remarkable 8th place finisher in the global World Class Bartender competition.

The event kicks off in a Vegas-themed ambiance at Crystal Garden on October 14 commencing at 5:30pm (VIP) and 6:30pm (General) ticket holders.

Attendees will also play the role of judges, casting their votes for their favourite concoctions. The winning cocktail will receive a guaranteed spot to next year's event, a prestigious award, and coveted media coverage.
