Victoria’s Best Restaurants
Presented by

Luckily for us on the West Coast, our mild seasons mean that whether it’s spring, summer, fall, or winter, we can enjoy a drink or a meal on a patio. From glorious views, to hot spots for busy summer gatherings, to cozy heated and covered patios, here are the top three patios in Victoria, as voted by you:

Glo Restaurant + Lounge

Featuring a 180-degree view of the Selkirk Waterway, just minutes away from the Galloping Goose Trail, Glo Restaurant + Lounge is the premier location for an intimate and relaxed dining experience. Glo was voted runner up in the Winter Patio category in last year’s Tasting Victoria Awards. It is the perfect patio to enjoy any season. Every seat in the restaurant showcases the beautiful views of the waterway.

Enjoy a locally inspired menu that focuses on seasonal ingredients. Some of our favourite dishes at Glo include the Crispy Calamari, Prawn and Scallop Pesto Tagliatelle, Tan Tan City Salad, and the Santa Fe Eggs Benedict

Lure Restaurant and Bar

Lure Restaurant and Bar

The runner-up for best patio is Lure Restaurant and Bar, located at the Delta Hotel Victoria. Discover lively, fresh and local tastes at this waterfront restaurant for breakfast, lunch, dinner or happy hour.

During the summer, Lure’s patio is an amazing place to eat and enjoy beautiful harbour views. From October to March, book a cozy private dining dome at WinterLURE, Victoria’s unique winter dining experience.

Our food recommendations are the Maple Bourbon Pork Ribs, Crispy Mac & Cheese Bites, and the Bacon Cheddar Burger.
100 Harbour Rd.

Aura Waterfront Restaurant + Patio

Aura Waterfront Restaurant + Patio

Coming in third place is Aura Waterfront Restaurant + Patio, a globally-inspired “small plates” restaurant set against the glittering backdrop of the Inner Harbour.

Aura’s award-winning chefs’ creative menu design combines local, farm-direct ingredients with international flavours on shareable plates designed to inspire conversation.

One of the things we love about Aura is that their chefs select local and organic foods over those from afar—like pork raised on Vancouver Island farms, fish caught just offshore, locally tended produce, and even herbs from their very own garden.

You can’t visit Aura without trying out their desserts! We also recommend the Smoked Duck Breast and Kimchi Braised Beef Short Rib.
680 Montreal St.

We encourage you to support your favourite restaurants by dining in or ordering takeout—and, of course, try new ones! Let us know what you think by emailing, or reach out on social media at @tastingvictoria.
