The building is a 104 year old designated heritage building that they converted into an old world Trattoria. They grow their own herbs and edible flowers in their beautiful garden. Everything is made fresh every day, from focaccia bread to pastas. And yes, they do use the finest imported ingredients from Italy! They offer a special Valentine’s menu. We love their farm-to-table concept. They have a 10 acre farm in Saanich where they grow their own veggies and much more, that is were the name comes from. You can really tell the freshness and the texture of the food. Beautiful decor, ambiance is cozy, relaxed and warm. The lighting is just right. Plus, they have a great service.
