Cinnaholic is coming to Victoria on October 8th

Coming to Victoria on Friday, Oct. 8 is the renowned gourmet vegan bakery Cinnaholic. Serving 100% plant-based rolls since 2014, Cinnaholic is moving into downtown Victoria at 535 Yates St. to bring you a sweet treat special! From 10am to 2pm on Oct. 8, Cinnaholic will be offering $1 cinnamon rolls for its grand opening. Try out their signature rolls or build your very own special roll, with 20 unique frosting flavours and a variety of fresh and decadent toppings.

Cinnaholic first gained popular attention after the company was featured on the ABC hit show Shark Tank. The plant-based brand was offered a deal from the show’s investors and began franchising their store in 2014. Today they have 100 locations open and in development across the USA and Canada, with existing Canadian locations in both Manitoba and Alberta. Victoria is the very first location to open in BC. Cinnaholic is a brand that not only serves gourmet cinnamon buns with a variety of topping choices but it also offers cookies, edible vegan cookie dough, baby buns, savoury buns, and freshly brewed hot or cold coffee.

The first of its kind

Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Cinnaholic is unique in that it is one of the very first gourmet bakeries that is 100% plant-based and allows customers to customize any roll. Each uniquely flavoured roll from Cinnaholic is 100% free of any dairy, lactose, eggs, and cholesterol. Foodies from far and wide can come and enjoy Cinnaholic’s creative creations free of any dietary worries.

First BC location, Victoria

Cinnaholic first decided to launch in Victoria, BC, due to a partnership with Joe Zendejas, who lives and works in Victoria himself. Wanting to expand the Cinnaholic brand and footprint into Western Canada, Victoria seemed like a win-win option. Asking Zendejas why he chose to partner with Cinnaholic he had this to say: “We found out about Cinnaholic four years ago and were searching for a franchise to partner with. We knew that our market had a love of cinnamon rolls and a large vegan consumer base. We think it’s a great product and it can be enjoyed by any person, vegan or non.”

Seasonal treats

With October in full swing, Cinnaholic is now offering their seasonal Pumpkin Spice roll, with optional pumpkin frosting, topped with Cinnadoodle cookie bites, marshmallows, and cinnamon dust. In celebration of national pizza month, Cinnaholic is also offering their seasonal savoury pizza rolls during October.

Come check out Cinnaholic this month for all their seasonal treats and delights. If you are looking for catering, Cinnaholic offers catering services for weddings, parties, events, and company functions.
