Victoria restaurants with special New Year’s Eve plans

new-year's-eve

It’s almost the last day of 2022—and the first time in two years that some of us can get together en masse and count down the year’s final moments.

It’s bound to be exciting, and a few restaurants are pulling out all the stops with one-of-a-kind menus to keep your palette punching with beautiful dishes and boozy (or not boozy) drinks.

Check them out below.

The Fairmont Empress’ New Year’s Eve Gala

Since 1919, the Fairmont Empress has put on the most epic New Year’s Eve gala. Put on your best black tie, and head to the historic Crystal Ballroom for live music, cocktails, and a four-course dinner from 8pm-1am. This is a 19+ event—$329 per adult. Book between six and 12 in one party.

Reserve your spot here.

Agrius

The chefs at this organic-focused restaurant have put together a six-course tasting menu. For the full experience, its sommelier has two tiers of wine pairings: the Good Fun, or Fancy Fun options. Agrius is also offering a vegetarian tasting menu, but cannot provide gluten or dairy-free options.

Buy tickets here—cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable. If you’re booking over five guests, email agrius@folepi.ca in advance.

Clive’s Classic Lounge

There are only a handful of spots available for Clive’s combination Campari Red Party and Supper Club. Starting at 7:30pm on Dec. 31, enjoy an eight-course dinner paired with cocktails and rare and “eclectic” spirits, according to Clive’s. There are only 16 spots, each worth $300.

Craft Beer Market

The countdown at Craft includes a four-course dinner (with a vegetarian option) and a welcome cocktail, house beer, wine, or champagne. There will be a live DJ all night and tickets are $90.
