These are the best burger restaurants in Victoria this year, as selected by our readers in the annual Tasting Victoria Restaurant Awards

The simple burger and fries, a renowned classic, is a tasty meal that holds all the goodness and satisfaction of comfort food. Victoria is home to so many delicious burger joints, each with their very own spins on the ever-popular western dish.
We asked our readers to vote for their favourite burger, and it was by no means an easy task. We have compiled for you the top three best burger restaurants in Victoria.

Bin 4 Burger Lounge

Locally owned and operated, Bin 4 Burger Lounge specializes in gourmet burgers, appetizers, fresh salads, hand crafted cocktails, and local wine and beer. Bin 4 opened its first location on Yates Street in 2011, and two more Victoria locations since, as well as others in Vancouver’s South Granville, Kelowna, Nanaimo, and Burnaby. Its dedication to gourmet burgers has spanned BC, and now, has it atop Tasting Victoria’s Readers’ Choice Awards.

Big Wheel Burger

When it comes to creative dishes, vegetarian-friendly options, and, of course, burgers, Big Wheel selects and sources locally, sustainably, and using environmentally friendly resources. At Big Wheel, the burgers are crafted with the best of intentions, so you can enjoy a guilt-free meal that has big flavours and originality to boot.

Burger Crush

Burger Crush began as a food truck on Cook Street, near Taco Justice. Last year, it moved into the former Tacofino to the thrill of many locals and it’s been expanding into the Lower Mainland too. Burger Crush’s message is simple: low-stress, high-quality fast food without a bunch of bells and whistles. What’s resulted is a no-frills burger shop harkening to a simple, yet delicious era of perfect burgers, fries, and shakes.

787 Fort St.
