Boom + Batten

With its perfect view of the Inner Harbour, Boom + Batten’s elevated casual dining offers guests an experience inspired by the Pacific Northwest surroundings. This is the only place you will be able to feast while gawking at some of the largest yachts moored at the Victoria International Marina.

Vista 18 at the Chateau Hotel

Located on the 18th floor of the Chateau Victoria, Vista 18 is independently owned and managed by the Piercys—a family which has been in Victoria since the 1890s. Prior to becoming Vista 18 in 2000, the rooftop restaurant was known among locals as The Parrot House, in honour of a very real and unique parrot named Louis, who resided in the hotel. Now the restaurant brings distinctive menus focusing on fresh, organic, and local ingredients with stunning views of the inner harbour.

The Snug Pub at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel

An icon and an institution in Victoria dating back to 1954, The Snug Pub is the city’s first neighbourhood pub. With floor-to-ceiling ocean views and an inviting atmosphere, the Pub pays homage to good food, good spirits, and lifelong friends. It takes advantage of BC’s best produce by adapting menus to the seasons. You will find a healthy selection of local brews on tap to be enjoyed at the cozy bar or—as its place on our list suggests—on the heated and covered oceanfront patio.
