ABBA fans can rejoice at the recent announcement of a pop-up drag lunch experience themed around the iconic Swedish supergroup coming to Victoria on Aug. 26.

ABBA Dancing Queens Drag Lunch will feature performances from local Victoria drag queens, including lip-sync battles to ABBA’s hits like “Voulez Vous” and “S.O.S.” It's unclear which local drag queens will be performing. Tasting Victoria reached out but didn’t hear back in time for publication

The event will also include ABBA-themed trivia.

Attendees are encouraged to come decked out in disco attire, and those with the best ABBA inspired outfits will win prizes.

Tickets to the event are $65 each and will include a main lunch dish and one drink upon arrival.

There will be two sessions of the event held on Aug. 26, one from 1 to 3pm and another from 5 to 7pm. The event will take place on 229 Gorge Rd. E., the address for the Days Inn by Wyndham Victoria Uptown.
