Finding a restaurant where you can bring your baby can be a tricky endeavor. There are a long list of factors to consider, from stroller accessibility and highchair availability to a calming atmosphere. To make this process easier, and because being a new parent is already stressful enough, we have compiled a list of baby-friendly restaurants across the city.

Fiamo

Fiamo can accommodate strollers in certain sections of the restaurant. It also has two highchairs available for use. Its large patio offers a cozy atmosphere for family dinner time. Tasting Victoria recently highlighted Fiamo as having some of the best traditional Italian cooking in Victoria.

Bin 4 Burger Lounge

Bin 4 is a great option for a meal out with baby. Its locations in downtown, Saanich, and Langford are accessible for strollers and they can provide both highchairs and booster seats. All three locations also offer a kid's menu that features a chicken burger and grilled cheese for those who also have older children. The restaurant offers up delicious burgers with both classic and unique options like its black and blue burger with blue cheese and crispy onions.

Tug Eatery & Bar

Enjoy a waterfront view at Tug Eatery & Bar’s large patio while chowing down on some delicious West-Coast-inspired eats. Some menu highlights include the kimchi fried rice bowl and the crispy chicken sandwich. The restaurant is accessible for strollers and it has one highchair available for use.

Spinnakers

Spinnakers can accommodate strollers and it has highchairs as well. The restaurant also has a kid's menu for those who have older children that includes a cheeseburger and a junior cheese flatbread pizza. The Vic West brewpub was recently featured in Tasting Victoria’s list of best patios across the city.

The Hallway

The Hallway is the perfect place to grab brunch or dinner, with amazing dishes throughout the day like croque madame and crab cakes. The restaurant is accessible for strollers and it has highchairs available. It also has a kid's menu for older children that features poutine and pasta. Its chef was featured in Tasting Victoria’s spotlight series last year.

Yua Bistro

Yua Bistro has highchairs available for use and it can accommodate collapsible strollers. The Japanese restaurant located in Chinatown offers up fresh and tasty dishes like its Yua Ocean Udon with mussels, mushrooms, and zucchini. It was highlighted by Tasting Victoria as being one of the best new restaurants to open up in 2022.

The Courtney Room

MeeT on Blanshard

This plant-based restaurant focuses on comfort, accessibility, and affordability for all its guests. Located in a former Boston Pizza, the place has been totally transformed into a hip restaurant that caters to everyone, even babies! The result is a menu that can range from poutine and burgers, to vindaloo and calamari.
