Cold Comfort Ice Cream, a beloved Victoria staple known for its hand-crafted, small-batch ice cream made with organic dairy, has opened its second location in the heart of Cook Street Village. Famous for its creative flavours and attention to dietary sensitivities, Cold Comfort continues to delight with its unique offerings, ensuring there’s something for everyone—whether you're a fan of classic flavours or adventurous combinations.

What to expect at the new location

Located just steps from Beacon Hill Park and a short walk from Dallas Road, the new Cook Street Village shop is a cozy addition to this vibrant neighbourhood. It offers Cold Comfort’s iconic ice cream sandwiches, pints, snacks, drinks, and even pup cups for your furry friend. While scoops aren’t available just yet, they will be soon.

The new location in Cook Street Village is also serving hot apple cider to warm you up this winter, and there is also merch available for purchase. 

Ice cream sandwiches in the new location include plain jane, golden graham, dairy free chai, beer and pretzels, vegan and gluten-free coco café, ginger and pear snickerdoodle, and more. Ice cream pints include plain jane, burnt sugar and sea salt, choc o'clock, and more. As always, Cold Comfort caters to various dietary needs, offering a variety of vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options, so everyone can enjoy their creamy creations.

A sweet addition to the neighbourhood

With its proximity to Beacon Hill Park and Dallas Road, the new ice cream shop is an ideal stop after a stroll or for a treat on a sunny day, although their ice cream and treats can brighten any season, even a gloomy winter.
