It is no secret that Greater Victoria has an innovative and exciting food and beverage scene. On April 24 Culinaire will showcase the Island’s restaurants, craft makers, and specialty goods purveyors. Returning to the Victoria Conference Centre for its 13th year, the food and beverage event hosts presenters from over 80 eateries and food producers local to both Greater Victoria and across BC.

The event offers the opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals about their trade and the products they produce as well as the chance to taste new flavours and creations. Featured dishes from local beloved restaurants will be available to try as well as everything from cocktails, wines, beers, and ciders to coffees, teas, and sodas.

Among the presenters local to Greater Victoria are handmade mustard and pie company Two Crows Craft Foods, Asian comfort food truck Hide N Seek, craft cider makers Victoria Cider Co, and many more.

Presenters from other parts of the Island include Port Alberni’s Antidote Distilling Co. who creates award-winning craft spirits, Qualicum Beach’s Little Qualicum Cheese Works who produces award-winning artisan cheeses, and more.

Culinaire is also hosting presenters from off the Island like Penticton’s Three Sisters Winery who aim to make approachable wines, Naramata’s Creek & Gully Cider who make small-batch fine cider, and more.

The event will also include collabs from presenters, like a non-alcoholic Aperol spritz collab from WildFolk and Grüvi.

Tickets include 10 tasting tokens to sample food and beverage from the restaurants, makers, and purveyors in attendance. Additional tokens are available for purchase during the event for $1.50 each, with a minimum purchase of five tokens. Complimentary token-free samples will also be available.

VIP tickets include 20 tasting tokens, a culinary VIP experience before the main event featuring creations from guest chefs, and 15 minutes early access to the main event. The main event runs from 5pm to 7:15pm and from 8pm to 10:15pm, while the VIP event runs from 4pm to 7:15pm and from 7pm to 10:15pm.
