Brought to you by Destination Greater Victoria and the BC Restaurant and Food Services Association Victoria branch, Dine Around’s 17-day celebration of food features some of Victoria’s top restaurants presenting set three-course menus at deliciously low prices from Jan. 14 to Feb. 9, 2025.

Why is it special? Dine Around and Stay in Town Victoria is more than just a food event; it is a celebration of the city's culinary culture, local ingredients, and community spirit. Whether you're savouring a new dish at a waterfront bistro or enjoying a cozy pub meal, the event offers an unparalleled opportunity to experience the best of Victoria’s food scene.

The menu price points this year are $25, $35, $45, $55, $65 and $75 per person. Plus, a new feature this year is special breakfast, brunch, and lunch menus that have been added to many of the restaurants’ offerings.

Serving up mouthwatering bites from over 50 of Victoria’s favourite participating restaurants and beverage purveyors, Victoria’s finest chefs pull out all the stops to impress and delight guests, while building excitement for the endless dining experiences that await during the 17-day Dine Around program. Here are examples of the breakfast and brunch menus introduced this year:
$25 Menus

  • Pendray Tea House: A three-course breakfast menu that includes options to choose from quiche, salmon and cream cheese toast, french toast bites, yogurt with seasonal fruit, and more. 

  • Blue Crab Seafood House: A three-course brunch menu offering options to choose from like ham and brie turnover, goat cheese sofrito, chicken on french toast, scramble crab crepe, and desserts. 

$35 Menus

  • Fathom: The brunch menu starts with a spiced smoothie, followed by crab bennies, and chocolate chia pudding for dessert.

  • The Courtney Room: The brunch menu is offered Saturdays and Sundays and guests can choose from a green salad or feature soup to start, prosciutto and cheddar benedict, or shakshuka, or cheddar and gruyère omelette, or avocado tartine as mains, and finish up with a citron tarte for dessert. 

  • Q at the Empress: Choice of a mango lassie chia pudding, pb&j smoothie bowl, or fruit and yogurt to start, ham and brie omelette, cinnamon swirl french toast, or a Mediterranean egg white frittata as mains, and a fruit danish or a twice-baked chocolate croissant for dessert. 

  • Lure Restaurant and Bar: Start your brunch with a lavender yogurt parfait or a freshly baked pastry, followed by mains like a country ham benedict, Lure hash, or avocado toastie. End on a sweet note with a cinnamon roll french toast or house made sorbet. 

  • Spinnakers Gastro Brewpub: Begin your $35 brunch with options like Nordic salad featuring vodka-cured gravlax, a granola parfait, or candied bacon. For the main course, choose from seafood quiche, a crispy latke benny, or shakshuka baked in the pizza oven. End your meal with a decadent chocolate swirl mousse or Spinnakers’ special coffee featuring their Chocoholic Creme de Cacao liqueur or a chocolate swirl mousse.
