Faro Lane brings a new take on Victoria patio season

With changing seasons and low temperatures, Oak Bay Beach Hotel has reimagined their Conservatory space and introduced FARO Lane, an extension of FARO Handcrafted Pizza and Tasting Room’s outdoor patio – brought indoors.
Anchored by its wood stone pizza oven and seasonally changing menu, Faro – Italian for “beacon” or “lighthouse” – brings handcrafted pizza, a variety of fresh salads and small bites, cocktails, local wines, and more.
Working with local companies Platinum Floral Designs and Designer Weddings, FARO Lane’s décor has been curated with dried hop bines from micro hop grower Cobble Hill Hops, Edison lights, an abundance of indoor plants, and a feature hedge surrounded by locally sourced pampas grass, faux tropical plants, and dried florals.
“We know the colder weather will limit what we can offer on our outdoor patio,” says Christian Sealey, Director of Food & Beverage, in a release. “We decided to repurpose a space in the hotel currently not in use to offer a truly special experience for our guests. FARO Lane is distinctly unique and a wonderful addition to FARO.”
FARO is open daily for café service from 7 to 10:30am, and lunch and dinner service from 11:30am to 9pm. Individual, physically distanced tables can be booked for groupings of two to six people, to ensure the provincial health guidelines and protocols of the hotel are met.
