Roast is popping up at Phillips this summer
Guests can expect rotating menus and weekend features.

Big news for fans of good beer and even better sandwiches: Roast is moving into the Phillips Tasting Room starting May 12. With the Victoria Public Market closing soon, this beloved local food spot has found a new downtown home.
“We are excited to partner with Roast to bring quality, well-known local food to our Tasting Room and to celebrate two great brands coming together within our community” said Jim Lister, president at Phillips Brewing & Malting Co. “With Roast being a beloved brand in Victoria, we are thrilled that they can have a new temporary home at Phillips, and we see Roast’s delicious meals, both lunch and dinner, being a natural fit with Phillips beers, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages. Community collaboration steers many of our best projects and we are honoured to be working so closely with Roast to open this new pop-up, here at Phillips.”
The menu at the Tasting Room will include sandwiches, salads, hot dog towers, nachos, tots, and more. Guests can also expect rotating menus and weekend features.
Phillips will be making a few updates to the Tasting Room to get things ready, but don’t expect any big interruptions to service. It all kicks off just in time for the May long weekend and runs through September.
