Victoria Beer Week is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2024

Starting off as a collaborative vision shared between bar managers, beer reps, brewers, local stakeholders and chefs in 2014, Victoria Beer Week is now celebrating its 10th anniversary with an exciting lineup of events and unique craft beers.

The dates have been released for the 2024 event. Taking place from March 1-9, participants can expect to tour several breweries in the area and get exclusive tastes of some of the best beers Victoria has to offer, participating in beer launches, cask nights and food and wine pairings.

Some notable breweries include Ile Sauvage, Hoyne Brewing, Beacon Brewing, Small Gods Brewery, Spinnakers, Moon Under Water, Phillips Brewing, Category 12, Whistle Buoy, Vancouver Island Brewing and Lighthouse Brewery, among others. A full event list will be released in January.

“Craft beer connoisseurs and newcomers alike can look forward to an exciting array of events brought to you by the very people behind your favourite brews,” said Victoria Beer Week in a recent media release.

Interested participants can also sign up for Victoria Beer Week’s 10th Birthday Bash on March 9 from 7pm to 10pm at the Victoria Press Building—on top of tasting delicious beers, guests can also expect live entertainment, games, prizes and join hand-in-hand as the Victoria Beer Society cuts into its 10th birthday cake.

Tickets for the event are already on sale as of Monday, Dec. 18, and include six drink tokens, a 10th anniversary tasting cup and a birthday goodie bag. Victoria Beer Week members get 25% off event tickets with discounts on merchandise and craft beer at Refuge Taproom.
