As Christmas approaches, it is time to start seriously considering what you are going to eat for the big holiday dinner. If you don’t feel like cooking this year, many Victoria restaurants have you covered. We have compiled a selection of restaurants that are serving both take-out dinners to enjoy at home and dine-in options to make the day a special one. Make sure to reserve your spot!
Jones Bar-B-Que is serving up a take home Christmas dinner after a barbecue lover’s heart. The star of the show is the smoked turkey breasts and confit turkey thighs, which will be served alongside yam and golden beet pave, house-made sausage and traditional brioche stuffing, cheesy broccoli casserole, roasted root, and a vegetable medley. The dinner will be accompanied by bread rolls, turkey gravy, and cranberry sauce. For dessert is apple crumble with cinnamon créme anglaise. Add on options include brisket, pork ribs, pork butt house-made sausage, and portobello mushroom. Dinner is $55 per person as is sold for a minimum of two people and can be served in multiples of two. Limited quantity available and pick-up is on Dec. 24. They also offer a vegetarian option.

Fathom is serving up a three-course sit down Christmas dinner. For starters choose between beet salad or stoney field squash bisque. Main course options include turkey with stuffing, beef wellington with prosciutto, salmon with winter vegetables, or pan seared cauliflower with couscous. For dessert choose between pear hazelnut and earl grey tea torte or raspberry passionfruit tart. Dinner is $97 for three courses.
The restaurant is also hosting a brunch buffet on Dec. 25 and 26 at $70 per person.

The Dining Room has a three-course sit down Christmas dinner and wine pairing. For starters choose between winter squash soup, chevre brûlée or kusshi oysters on the half shell. Options for the main course include a traditional turkey breast with sausage stuffing, whipped potatoes, roast vegetables, gravy and cranberry, steak oscar with crab croquet, or mushroom risotto. For dessert, choose between a chocolate hazelnut bombe or a whiskey baba. The dinner is ideal for individuals and groups of up to eight people. The price of the three-course dinner is $219 per guest.
The Oak Bay Beach Hotel is also offering a Christmas Day dinner in The Snug Pub. A three course menu featuring traditional Christmas turkey with all the classic fixings for $99 per guest.

At the Arbutus Room you can enjoy a festive Christmas dinner close by nature and the sea, with overlooking views of the water. The restaurant is offering a three-course dinner for $79 per person on Dec. 25 from 3 to 9pm. Start with a fall salad or a roasted squash and sweet potato soup. For the main dish you can look forward to a delicious and savoury butter and herb roasted turkey breast, with sage brioche stuffing, classic turkey gravy, thyme roasted seasonal vegetables, creamy buttermilk potato purée, and a festive orange and cinnamon-scented cranberry sauce. Options for dessert include a classic pumpkin pie and a buttered rum caramel cheesecake.

Victoria Harbour House is serving a three-course sit down Christmas dinner. Choices for starters included roasted butternut squash soup, caesar salad, or prawn cocktail while choices for entrées include traditional turkey dinner, New York steak, or salmon. After dinner, dessert will be served. Limited seating available at 4, 5, 6 and 7pm. The price of the three-course dinner is $98 per guest.

Enjoy a sit down Christmas dinner either at 10 Acres Commons downtown or at 10 Acres The Pier in Sidney. The three-course Christmas dinner will feature options of squash soup, humboldt squid, or beet salad for starters. For the main course, options will include turkey, salmon, or cannelloni. Choose from bread pudding, pumpkin cheesecake, or ice cream and a chocolate chip cookie for dessert.
The same locations offer a take home Christmas dinner for pickup on Dec. 25 between 2-4pm. Cut off time is Dec. 21 at 2pm.

Eat Christmas dinner in the historic hotel with the Q At The Empress four-course sit down dinner. The dinner starts with a winter squash velouté followed by a lobster terrine. The main course options include slow cooked turkey, beef wellington, and hen of the woods. For dessert, choose between eggnog and petite buche de noel or a pear and milk chocolate cremeux. An optional wine pairing is available alongside the dinner. The price of the three-course dinner is $229 per guest.

Enjoy Christmas dinner with beautiful Inner Harbour views at Lure Restaurant with a four-course sit down dinner. The dinner starts with a parsnip and celery root bisque or family style roasted beetroot and feta salad. The main course options include orange and rosemary sous vide turkey, caraway and sea salt Kuterra steelhead trout, shiitake mushroom and miso risotto, or a vegan cashew pasta. For dessert, choose between a buttermilk panna cotta, a warm apple tartlet, or an apple spiced vegan cheesecake. The price of the three-course dinner is $109 per guest.
The restaurant is also hosting a Christmas Day brunch buffet.

The restaurant will have a special omakase dinner for Christmas on Dec. 24, an exclusive holiday-themed omakase for $120 with limited seatings at 5pm and 6:30pm. The curated Christmas omakase menu will include takoyaki, Korean-style LA Galbi, and seasonal delicacies like fresh fish jeon.
