Fathom, a Victoria restaurant located in the Hotel Grand Pacific launched their VIP Gold annual membership this year, offering exclusive benefits and privileges to customers. “The restaurant hosts a lot of special ticketed dinner events and there is a group of guests that attend every event” Becca Penner, marketing manager at the Hotel Grand Pacific told Tasting Victoria. Because of this, they were inspired to create a community for these special guests who have supported the restaurant since the beginning. The program is geared toward the local foodie community in hopes of creating their own Fathom foodie community.
When VIP members sign up, they will receive digital passes in their Apple or Google wallets; these passes will be scanned by the team at the restaurant.

A complimentary bottle of bubbly when celebrating a birthday or anniversary.
50% off the room rate at Hotel Grand Pacific, to use once annually.
A complimentary appetizer for the table on the member’s first visit.
A cocktail punch card where the member earns a complimentary appetizer after buying 10 regular priced cocktails and collects digital stamps on their card.
VIP members also get notified about Fathom events first and can buy tickets before the general public.
The cost for the membership is $125 annually.

The restaurant has live music every month. Every Friday in September visit the terrace for their Sunset sessions with DJ Jeff Lingwood, and on Sept. 28 join Gordon Clements Trio in the Fathom lounge for a classical and jazz performance on clarinet, saxophone, and flute.
