There’s nothing like knowing about a restaurant that no one else does. And perhaps it’s a bit ironic that we’re telling you about these places, but frankly, they’re too good not to.

Welcome to Tasting Victoria’s Restaurant Awards.

Part and Parcel

This hole-in-the-wall is hidden amongst the hustle and bustle of Quadra Village and Hillside Road—apt for taking first place in the hidden gems category. Part and Parcel offers dinner, lunch, low-intervention wines, creative cocktails, and a rotating selection of craft beer. It’s committed to providing and supplying the best local fare.

49 Below Ice Cream

49 Below has been crafting ice cream since 2015. Made in small batches using fresh and simple ingredients, its ice cream is unparalleled. With wacky flavours, like Hawkins Cheezies, and classic comforts, 49 Below is focused on community and collaboration. Plus, the inventive flavours will have you going back for more.

Benjo's Tacos

Benjos was started by Johl and Sam Green and named after their son Benjamin. It opened in April 2022 on pure whim and a love for food, and has amassed a cult following in Victoria. While the owners are both Canadian, Johl has always loved Mexican cuisine due to its depth of flavour and versatility.
