The Eats & Beats Beach Party returns for its annual festivities at The Beachlands this Saturday, July 27, from 1pm to 8pm. The free beach party celebrates all things food and live music while taking in Colwood’s ocean views.
The festival will host 20 food trucks, serving up a range of cuisines. Greek n' Go and Greek on the Street will be offering Greek street food, while Deadbeetz Burgers will be cooking up its unique burger fare. Los Panas Kitchen will be serving up its delicious Venezuelan arepas and patacones, Big Boss Tacos will be making Mexican street food, and Mama Rosie's will be offering Filipino dishes.
A number of sweet treats will also be available. Country Crepes will be serving both sweet and savoury crepes. Holy Cow Mini Donuts will offer the classic fair food, perfect for snacking on at the festival. Cool down with roll-up ice cream from Lexi's Ice Cream and Treats.
Victoria Beer Society will be running a beer garden, featuring local craft beers and ciders. The Bubble Bus will be offering additional drinks on tap.

The festival will feature live performances from South Island musicians throughout the day. Silvertone will play tunes from the ’70s, while The Temps will perform both modern and classic rock. The stage will also bring soul music to the festival, with Sugar the Band playing classic soul tunes and The Soul Shakers performing dance music. Tribute band Heist will perform music from The Tragically Hip.
The Beat Dance Studio will give dance lessons between each performance.
The Eats & Beats Beach Party will have a number of free activities including bucket pong and a bungee run. West Shore Parks & Recreation will be hosting beach games and Karelia Sunflower Designs will be doing henna.
Free shuttles will be running throughout the event between The Beachlands and Royal Bay. Bike valet parking will also be available.
