This week we are bringing you a look into a new free food market for those in need as well as a guide to Victoria’s holiday craft markets.
November is the month for craft markets, and many of them are kicking off this weekend!

🍹 Wind Cries Mary: Enjoy shareable dishes and delicious cocktails in Bastion Square.

Victoria has a brand new free food market open for those in need

Living Edge, a local non-profit organization who has been on the hunt for a permanent business location since August, recently opened its new location at Church of Our Lord at 625 Blanshard St. The location consists of farmers market-style food stands that offer a wide variety of goods including fresh produce and bread.
The market runs every Thursday from 11am to noon while supplies last. Registration or proof of income is not required for entry—everyone is welcome.

Tombo pop-up opens Wednesday at 1219 Government. The pop-up will offer a few items for people to try ahead of the new farm-to-table restaurant’s grand opening in January.
Seal Point Pizza is having a soft open tomorrow. The new pizzeria has taken over The Hive Eatery space at 1275 Fairfield.
Cozy Christmas Food Tour kicks off this Friday. The tour will include stops at Crust Bakery, L’apero Wine & Cheese Bistro, Chocolate & Co, and others.
Tickets for Culinaire go live Wednesday. The food and beverage tasting event that hosts 45 South Island restaurants will take place at the Victoria Conference Centre in April 2024.

Dinner and drag at Friends of Dorothy: Enjoy dinner and cocktails this Saturday while watching amazing drag performances hosted by Mina Mercury. 5:30-8:30pm.
Diwali at Wicket Hall: Camosun Student Society is hosting a Diwali celebration Monday, 7pm-1am.
