Odd Burger is opening in Victoria

After nearly a year of anticipation, the paper is finally coming down at a downtown vegan burger joint this weekend.  

Odd Burger will open its doors at 790 Fisgard St. this Saturday and is celebrating its grand opening with $1 soft-serve ice cream and free tote bags for the first 30 customers. 

Odd Burger is a fast-food restaurant that focuses solely on vegan food that utilizes sustainable and minimally processed ingredients. The Victoria location will be the chain’s first restaurant in BC.

A Victoria restaurant is hosting a tequila tasting this month

Located in the Hotel Grand Pacific, Fathom, is hosting a special, one-night only dinner and tequila tasting menu this month and we can’t wait to see what it’s all about.

Promising a night of exceptional cuisine and a lineup of premium tequilas, the Fathom Patron Dinner is taking place Aug. 22 on the restaurant’s all-season terrace and will feature a five-course gourmet dinner with each course accompanied by the perfect pairing of Patron.

Phillips Backyard: The music festival returns for its second weekend tomorrow until Sunday, with performances from Jungle, Black Pumas, Earl Sweatshirt, and more.  

Dragon Boat Festival: The annual festival returns for a weekend of dragon boat racing, cultural activities, and live performances. Tomorrow and Saturday at the Inner Harbour and Ship’s Point.
