Tickets on sale for Brewery & the Beast: The food and drink festival at Starlight Stadium on Sep. 22 will host over 50 Island food and drink purveyors. 

Best Coast Distillers launches Wildfire Whisky: Partial proceeds from the cinnamon infused whisky will be donated to Peninsula Firefighters fighting wildfires. 

Island’s first Chipotle now open: The new location at 1070 Douglas opened its doors yesterday. The Mexican chain restaurant began in the US and has since gained mass popularity, with locations across Canada.

Open Air: Listen to classical music during Pacific Opera and Victoria symphony’s summer festival with events at The Butchart Gardens at Beacon Hill Park today and Saturday. 

Thirsty Chef: Celebrate The Drake Eatery’s 10th birthday in Market Square with tastings from local chefs and breweries. Saturday, noon-4pm.

Soberfest: Celebrate recovery and enjoy live music at this alcohol-free and drug-free festival at Starlight Stadium on Saturday, noon-7pm. 

Viva! Victoria Latin Fest: This family-friendly Latin American cultural event features live music, dance, and food vendors. Saturday and Sunday, noon-6pm.
