Good morning foodies!

This week we are bringing you a story about a new restaurant opening in Esquimalt later this month, as well as a list of coffee shops to try this fall. As the weather cools down, weā€™re craving cozy cafes to curl up in.

Over on the mainland, the Michelin Guide announced the latest Vancouver winners, and it got us thinking who would deserve that kind of honour from our restaurant scene in Victoria.

The highly anticipated restaurant inside the newly restored Rosemead House in Esquimalt will officially open its doors in a couple of weeks and we couldnā€™t be more excited. The executive chef is a former finalist on the cooking competition show Top Chef Canada, with experience leading renowned Vancouver restaurants like Osteria Savio Volpe and CinCin Ristorante.
